• Background

  NEXYAD worked since 1995 on advanced vision/image processing, signal processing, statistics, data analysis, optimization, for many fields of application such as defense, car and road safety, green technology and energy optimization, cosmetics, video and movie digital image post processing, internet.
  
  Skills and Know How could be developed among years on both classical (Probabilistic / Bayesian methods, Signal Theory, Optimal Filters / Kalman, Non Linear Observers, ...) and soft computing / artificial intelligence methods (Artificial Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Possibility Theory and Fuzzy Logic, ...).

Visibility and Image Quality Measurement

- Measurement of the efficiency of visibility recovery systems (in cars, trucks, trains, boats, …) : NEXYAD developed a set of ready to use products
. VisiNex™ : measurement of the visibility through a windshield (ex : efficiency measurement of wipers)

. RainNex™: artificial rain machine that generates an artificial rain statistically similar to natural rains

. DropNex™ : drops detection and counting on the windshield

- Measurement of image quality and understandability for real world scenes (ad-hoc applications for customers)
