AIG Forum 2016
The October 18th, AIG Forum 2016 took place at the beautiful Salon Hoche in Paris.
This eleventh AIG Forum was animated by Richard Deguettes deputy Chief Executive Officer AIG France, special guests were Alain Prost four time Formula One World Champion and Brother Samuel Rouvillois of Brotherhood St John in Avignon. They freely exchanged around theme “Aspirations & Inspirations”.
The two guests discussed their own experiences and views by answering questions sometimes general and sometimes personal in an informal atmosphere oscillating between humor and depth, that has made a very pleasant and successful event.
A cocktail for the audience of more of two hundreds persons followed a short speech by Christophe Zaniewski, CEO of AIG France, who recalled strategy and goals of the french Group subsidiary.

Grand succès pour le 1er ADAS Morning
La première édition des ADAS Morning a eu lieu le 18 octobre 2016 à la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris. Cette rencontre était organisée conjointement par le pôle de compétitivité Movéo et le Groupement ADAS et avait pour thème la Sécurité Routière.

INTRODUCTION
Les Compagnies d’Assurance automobile Européennes et Américaines sont toutes actuellement en train de tester des systèmes de télématique, soit sur boîtiers, soit sur smartphones, afin d’étudier les possibilités apportées par le digital dans l’évolution de leur métier et de leurs modèles d’affaires. La digitalisation de l’économie n’épargne en effet pas le secteur de l’assurance qui voit arriver de nouveaux interlocuteurs comme les GAFAMs susceptibles de capter la valeur.
L’idée principale qui se dégage des essais est qu’il serait possible d’ajuster au mieux, sur-mesure en quelques sortes, les tarifs d’assurances en fonction du conducteur, et ce, en utilisant des systèmes de mesure et de scoring dans le cloud susceptibles de mesurer les usages et d’estimer des indicateurs corrélés au risque.

BMW gave the opportunity for three innovative french startups to present their technologies on the business lounge on BMW booth. Serge Naudin, CEO of BMW Group France made a speech that remains the goal of the challenge BMW techdate that bring the winners to BMW Startup Garage in Munich (two weeks ago). He congratulated Nexyad, Oridao and Sentryo and introduced each of them to a bench of selected journalists.
Gérard Yahiaoui presented SafetyNex (that reduces accident rate by 20%) Nexyad onboard App of Risk assessment for driver, then he answered the questions and received several invited customers and partners.
Reminder : BMW Techdate wished to push ahead the french innovative high tech and identify new partners for technology matters. After a picky skimming, 20 startups were selected to present their project in front of a professional panel of Automotive, mobility, and connected car experts.
The quality of SafetyNex impressed the jury and the 9th june, BMW France announced Nexyad as part of the 3 winners of the first Techdate Challenge with Oridao and Sentryo.

NEXYAD was received by BMW in Munich last week.
From an initiative of BMW France, we were invited in the heart of BMW with two other Laureats of BMW Tech_date : ORIDAO and SENTRYO.
The BMW Startup Garage is a special department of BMW that seek for innovative SME’s to work with.
The program was pretty complete with presentation of SME’s and their products to an audience of chosen BMW teams, visits of BMW Welt (show room), BMW Museum, and BMW plant.
We were very impressed by the welcome of everybody, specialy from Startup Garage !
We want to thank again Carolina, Gregor and Matthias.

This new version included pattern recognition and tracking, and new management of camera model of with a special component that allows multiple camera models on a same RT-Maps diagram.
Applications are ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Driverless Car, but also Road Safety.
