Nexyad’s Prudence Metric, integrated within the SafetyNex platform, is designed to provide real-time alerts, including vocal alerts and notifications that can be overlaid on a Heads-Up Display (HUD).
How it works ?
Real-Time Alerts: the Prudence Metric uses advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to assess real-time driving conditions, identifying risks based on factors such as driver behavior, road geometry and signs, others road users/obstacles and environmental conditions. If a dangerous situation or potential hazard is detected with anticipation*, it immediately triggers an alert.
* Anticipation depends of eHorizon distance setting which is on the hand of integrators.
Vocal Alerts: In addition to visual alerts on the HUD, Prudence Metric can deliver vocal alerts to warn the driver about potential hazards. These vocal warnings are designed to be clear and concise, helping the driver respond quickly without needing to take their eyes off the road.
HUD Integration: SafetyNex’s system integrates with the vehicle’s Heads-Up Display to show critical safety information and alerts directly on the windshield, ensuring the driver has immediate access to important data while maintaining focus on the road. The HUD can display things like proximity warnings, risk level, or upcoming obstacles, making the information accessible in the driver’s line of sight.
